Field Trip

We left our school around 9 a.m. and headed down town to the Houston Aeros office. It was really cool to see how people work behind the scenes to market the team. We got to meet almost every body in the office and all of them gave us interesting speeches on what they do. We also got to go down to the Aeros apparel store and we helped them stuff envelopes. Then after a exciting few hours in the office, the whole class headed down to the mall for some food. Mrs. Cellaur gave us time to rome around the mall. After about a hour Clarence, Stephine, and me got a little bored...so we decided to play hide and go seek and used our cell phones to give the person that was it clues on where to find us. Me and Stephine ended up completely losing Clarence ha ha. then after about 30 minutes we went to go look for him and eventually found him. After that fun stuff we all went to a park by the Toyota center and played freeze tag and did the wave lol. When we finally got to the Toyota center we got a really awesome tour through the whole place. We got to see the sweets and the VIP sections, And we got to meet some of the players. We went down next to the glass and watched the Aeros practice before the game. Then the game soon started and we headed to our seats and watched the game. I had tons of fun and I'm a new Houston aeros fan and ill be going to many more games.

Band Project...Last Post

By doing this Band Project, i learned that its certainly not easy to make a band or to schedule events for the band. It took forever and a day to create our tour map and find all the venues and opening acts. It was defiantly hard to find how many seats each venue had. I liked taking the pictures and learning about the different steps it takes to create a good marketing scheme for a band. We applied the marketing mix by making T-shirts and posters to advertise our up coming concerts. Our target market was teenagers and people in their early twenty's. We chose that age group because you don't really find many forty year olds listening to heavy metal. We Combined the seven key functions of marketing by combining all of our assignments in a collage.

Band Project...

This Band Project has been a lot of fun for my group. We had lots of fun coming up with a name for the band, our name is "lethal juice" and we are a heavy metal group. We had to take some pictures, which turned out great

Hurricane IKE

My Dad and I spent all day Friday boarding up our windows and getting extra gas for the generator. We lost power early Saturday morning at 2:30 a.m. and still don't have any. When I woke up Saturday I walked outside and saw huge tree branches on my roof, yard, and street. We lost half of our fence and there was a big tree that fell on our power line. We spent most of Saturday and Sunday picking up and cutting branches. Monday i went to HEB and stood in a huge line to get in and my grandparents came down for a visit and brought some gas, food, and bottled water. Tuesday i worked on my English project and my grandparents left. Wednesday i went to the movies with a friend and helped my dad fix dinner. Thursday I went to my dads work and had lunch with him...then went to the movies again. That weekend i decided to drive to San Antonio to see my friends and family and stay with them sense they had power. We just got power back last week on Friday! And that was my lovely hurricane story.

My Class....

I learned that most of the class likes family guy and a lot like Mexican food. Lots of people also really like country...which i find kinda of strange. Theres a lot of history buffs and a lot of math geeks (including me). Tons of people don't bother to study. Not to many people listen to rock, but a lot listen to rap.

Interview Questions

Our teacher Mrs. Cellular is making us answer some interview questions...

1. My favorite food would have to be spaghetti, I'm like obsessed with olive garden. I love all kinds of music, just not country...that's a BIGGGG no no. I don't have time to watch a lot of TV but when i do i like to watch the hills :) and comedy central, oh and you cant forget family guy or the Simpson's. As for movies i like funny movie and action movies.
2. My favorite subject in school this year would have to be Pre Cal, because i feel like i know what I'm doing in the class and i understand most of it and don't really have problems in that class.I kinda really like aquatic science too, its a really fun class and i love learning about animals and fish. I absolutely HATE English, and I'm a horrible writer...as you can probably tell.
3. For the most part yes, I'm also really good at history because i have a good memory.
4. I am trust worth, independent, and responsible. On the other hand I'm also pretty shy till i get to know somebody.
5. Depends which subject its for, if its for math then i might look over the homework but theres not really any way to study for math. If its another subject such as accounting or economics then yes i defiantly try to study. I study by reading the chapters or reviewing my homework for that class.
6. I would like to learn more about business and see if i would like to go in to this as a career.
7. I think we should divide work in to thirds so we all do a equal amount.
8. I would make a great team member because I'm not lazy and i do the work.

Ipods :)

My team choose Ipods for our billboard project. We choose to premote our product by giving out free Ipods to the first 500 people to come to the October 7th Rocket game. We figured the right price for the Ipod would be $250.00. We choose to sell the product in stores like Walmart, Best buy, apple, and other electronic stores.
